Protecting a place is not just about loving it.
It's making a commitment forever.
Caring for Patagonia requires more than good intentions: it needs concrete rules, formal agreements, and a vision that transcends time. That's why every project at Estancia Cerro Negro is built on a solid foundation: the Real Right of Conservation.
A REAL COMMITMENT
The DRC defines criteria related to construction, land use, conservation and coexistence , seeking to avoid over-intervention of the territory .
It's not just another piece of paper. It's a public deed registered with the Property Registry — permanent, unseizable, and transferable with the land—so that this place will be cared for today, tomorrow, and forever.

•Sustainable Development Zone (30%): Housing and infrastructure.
• Regenerative Livestock Area (70%): Building the soil.
2. CONTINUOUS LANDSCAPE: WITHOUT PERIMETER FENCES

3. CONSCIOUS ARCHITECTURE AND LOCATION

4. TECHNICAL GUARANTEE: INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE
Every intervention is evaluated to ensure sustainability and design standards.

Sentiment Analysis
LIVING INSIDE A RESIDENCE
Cows and sheep will continue to be part of the landscape.
Living in a place doesn't mean halting productive activity. Regenerative livestock farming is part of the land management model and contributes to soil conservation and ecosystem function.
This means that cattle and sheep will be able to enter the land periodically, following schedules that will be announced in advance.

THE STEWARD FOUNDATION
The Real Right of Conservation does not operate in isolation. Behind it, there is an institution responsible for overseeing its implementation and safeguarding the project's objectives.
The Río Rubens Conservancy Foundation is the holder of the DRC and supports the management of the territory over time, ensuring compliance with the rules of conservation, use and coexistence.
Their goal is simple: to ensure that the project maintains its character, its landscape, and the conditions that give it value.
What you need to know
What can I do and what can't I do?
Your plot of land is still yours.
What we protect is what makes it valuable
What if I want to sell?
The DRC travels with the property, and that's precisely what makes it more valuable.
